Corporate policy

Seriplast aims to ensure in the short, medium, and long term:

  • Full customer satisfaction
  • The highest hygienic and sanitary quality of its products intended for food packaging
  • Improvement of its efficiency
  • Its image as a leading company in the market in which it operates
  • A production activity compliant with mandatory legislative requirements and safety requirements agreed with customers.

To demonstrate the commitment to manufacturing hygienically safe and quality products, it has been decided to adopt a Quality Management System that complies with both the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and the standard provided by BRCGS Packaging Materials ed. 06, and the function of Quality Manager has been established under the direct authority of the Management, granting them the necessary authority and freedom to ensure, in collaboration with all company personnel, the definition, application, and updating of the Quality Management System itself and to report any problems, to allow the adoption of appropriate improvements. As with food production companies, the hygienic and sanitary self-control system implemented by the company is mainly based on prevention and is structured on two important actions:

  • Identification within the production process of specific hazards that may somehow contaminate the packaging products intended for food and thus compromise their hygienic safety;
  • Implementing the most appropriate preventive and control measures to ensure the hygienic and sanitary safety of the packaging intended to come into contact with food.

To this end, an interdisciplinary working group, called the “Food Safety Group” (GSA), has been established to ensure the effective implementation of the food safety plan. This activation mainly involves:

  • Defining an organizational chart identifying all the functions necessary to ensure that all the various activities are carried out in compliance with customer satisfaction;
  • Identifying and defining procedures to optimize business processes;
  • Improving working environments in terms of health and comfort conditions;
  • Maintaining and increasing the acquired clientele;
  • Eliminating obstructive activities to increase efficiency and reduce management costs;
  • Reducing the number and cost of customer complaints;
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements;
  • Pursuing continuous improvement of the Management System’s performance.

The General Management is responsible for ensuring and supporting the implementation of this policy, and for verifying, through periodic meetings with the GSA and during planned and documented reviews of the management system, its realization. To this end, among other things, it must provide the necessary resources, also promoting awareness and training initiatives. Finally, all personnel are called upon to contribute to the implementation of this policy, and to be accountable, within their competencies, for the correct application of the Quality and Food Safety Management System and the achievement of the objectives set for it. This Corporate Policy will be made known to all personnel and disseminated through the usual communication channels.
